I-81 & Economic Development 

 

I-81 & Economic Development will be the theme of I-81 Community Forum on Tuesday May 20 @ 7 PM.  This event is the 3rd in a series sponsored by the Moving People Transportation Coalition.  It will be held at Salina Town Hall, 201 School Road, Liverpool 13088.  

A slide presentation on "Land Values, Taxes & Economic Development" by developer Robert Doucette will open the program.  Mr. Doucette is a spokesperson for ReThink81.  

Other panelists include Town of Salina Supervisor Mark Nicotra as spokesperson for Save81; Mary Thompson, Executive with Home Builder & Remodelers of CNY; and Barry Lentz, spokesperson for the Urban Jobs Task Force and Moving People Transportation Coalition.  

The event will be moderated by Peter Sarver, ACTS Convener.  The public is encouraged to engage this opportunity to hear multiple perspectives and to share their views through comments and questions.
